The Walton Family Foundation (WFF) Home Region Program’s 2025 strategic plan seeks to make Northwest Arkansas a more vibrant and inclusive region by supporting efforts to advance economic and cultural vibrancy, foster inclusive growth and a sense of belonging, and bolster community leadership and capacity. In support of this plan, WFF has undertaken a process to develop a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress toward its goals and inform its strategy refinement over the next five years. Community Science has been engaged to help the home program strategies move a set of outcomes from high level concepts, such as sense of belonging and stronger leadership, to measurable performance indicators with clear data sources. These indicators will enable the home program team to continuously monitor, evaluate, learn, and adjust the strategies, in order to achieve a vibrant and inclusive Northwest Arkansas.
