Community Science is partnering with SPARCC (Strong Prosperous and Resilient Communities Challenge – a national effort to ensure that major new infrastructure investments “lead to equitable and healthy opportunities for everyone”) to foster wider use of community ownership models in US cities. Through this research partnership, we convened leaders in community ownership across the country to determine where best to devote SPARCC research resources. At the direction of these leaders, we developed a foundational literature review to help residents and new leaders understand the basics of community ownership and enter conversations about community ownership in their communities. We also supported more advanced practitioners by documenting the leading edge of collaborative efforts among Community Land Trusts designed to share resources and networks for greater impact. 00590
