Living Cities’ theory of change asserts that by strengthening its competencies around racial equity, it will become more capable to influence and shift the policies, practices, and behaviors of public, philanthropic, and private leaders to commit to and support racial equity. Ultimately, the changes they effect can close racial income and wealth gaps across systems. To test this theory of change, Living Cities’ Learning, Storytelling ,and Results team coordinates the development of metrics, collection and analysis of data, and reporting and interpretation of findings across various teams and portfolios of work in the organization. The team recognized the complexity of this task and engaged Community Science to help them strategize, brainstorm, adjust, and improve their procedures and processes. Through weekly coaching sessions, we facilitated the team leadership’s discussions, generated insights that can help the team in their work, and identified immediate next steps they could take. 00811
