Two Gems Consulting Services engaged Community Science to help evaluate the American Evaluation Association (AEA) Building Diversity Initiative. (Community Science’s involvement in the development of the Building Diversity Initiative is described later.) The evaluation used qualitative and quantitative methods to determine the status of 14 recommendations proposed by the initiative’s advisory committee as necessary to increase the number of people of color engaged by AEA.
