The primary focus of the evaluation is to assess a new component of the Jericho Prisoner Reentry Initiative. Through funds provided by the Abell Foundation, 70% of men participating in the Jericho program will be provided supportive housing services. Community Science was contracted for two years to evaluate the effect of the program on reducing substance abuse and subsequent prison sentences among participants. The evaluation also assesses participants’ ability to secure more permanent housing and employment. (2007-2008)
