Your equity trainings are completed and the equity plan is finalized and approved. What’s next? Then the reality often hits that implementing the equity plan means real change not just for the organization and leadership, but how people have to deal with each other day-to-day, moment-by-moment. The political and social resistance that was not addressed in the planning and training begins to surface. Planning for resistance needs to be explicitly addressed as a key component to consider when preparing to implement your equity plan.

In this webinar panelists share how they navigated the “pushback” in their organizations and what strategies they used to continuously foster collective agreement and accountability as they moved forward. They discuss the importance of building internal capacity and how to strengthen external partnership. Our goal is to share a few ways organizations have achieved greater success in implementing their equity plans.
